Over two decades into their existence and a full ten years since their debut, LETUM ASCENSUS returned last year with "Wasteland Chronicles" - a compact 23-minute burst of death metal fury. While it delivers plenty of speed and aggression, the album burns fast and fades just as quickly, struggling to leave a lasting mark despite its raw energy.
