After releasing two full-length albums, the Macedonian deathgrind band HEAD CLEANER presents an EP entitled "Resistance, Determination And The Sheer Will To Overcome." This EP comprises seven tracks and has a total duration of just over 23 minutes. The fusion of death and grind elements evokes the sound of mid-era Napalm Death, specifically between their albums Diatribes and Words from the Exit Wound, a period noted for its quality and distinctive style. Evgenidis’ vocal delivery, which ranges from screams to growls, is consistently fitting, providing a sense of comfort throughout the listening experience. The guitar work adheres to the conventions of the genre, yet the influence of death metal becomes particularly pronounced in tracks like ‘The Chain,’ which delivers a punishing blow to the listener.
