Since its inception in 2010, the melodic and progressive grind band BEATEN TO DEATH from Oslo, Norway, has made a significant impact in the music scene. Their fifth full-length album, "Laat Maar, Ik Verhuis Naar Het Bos," was originally released on vinyl at the end of 2020 and is now being reissued in CD format. This album garnered a nomination for a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemannprisen) in the metal category, and the 2LP edition from their own label was sold out in a remarkably short time. The album is structured in four parts, each reflecting the essence of a different forest, and it powerfully conveys the band's exceptional compositional depth and expressive strength throughout.
